Personal Data You Provide: We collect the following Personal Data when you create an account or communicate with us –

  • User Content: When you use our Services, we collect Personal Data that is included in the input, file uploads, or feedback that you provide to our Services (“Content”).
  • Communication Information: If you communicate with us, we collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send (collectively, “Communication Information”).
  • Social Media Information: We have pages on social media sites like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. When you interact with our social media pages, we collect Personal Data that you choose to provide to us, such as your contact details (collectively, “Social Media Information”). In addition, from time to time, we may share or publish aggregated information like general user statistics with third parties. We will maintain and use de-identified information in anonymous or de-identified form and we will not attempt to re-identify the information, unless required by law.

Disclosure of Personal Data

In order to make our services available to you, to provide you with the services and support you request, and to run our business in general, we need to share your personal data with Hjort Knudsen A/S and third parties such as stores, marketing agencies, suppliers of logistics services, etc.

When we engage external data processors to process your personal data on our behalf, we require them to only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions. We also require external data processors to sign appropriate contracts that provide adequate safeguards to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in a manner that data processing meets the requirements of the applicable data protection regulation and ensures adequate protection of your rights.

In the event that we disclose your personal data to third parties who do not act as data processors under our management but as independent data controllers, we will do our best to ensure that they are reliable and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data that they assure us of clear obligations to comply with applicable data protection provisions and that they will not use the personal data they receive from us for purposes other than providing agreed services and for statistical analysis in anonymous form.

Retention

Children

Our Services are not directed to, or intended for, children under 13.  We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided Personal Data to OpenAI through the Services, please email us at Privacy@hjortknudsen.com. We will investigate any notification and, if appropriate, delete the Personal Data from our systems. Users under 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian to use our Services.

Data transfers

Our website contains tools from companies based in the USA. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the United States is not a safe third country under EU data protection legislation. U.S. companies are obliged to disclose personal data to the security authorities without you being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that the US authorities will process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
