Fabric care Guide

  • Always keep your furniture 20-30 cm away from any heat sources
  • Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight
  • Vacuum often—but do it with care
  • Always follow the care guide

First things first—arrival

We take great care in packaging your furniture to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Upon removing the packaging, you might notice some marks or indentations. Not to worry! Simply beat and shake your cushions and bolsters to help them regain their proper shape and remove any packaging marks.

Longevity for your furniture

We believe that with a little care, your furniture can bring you joy for many years. Here are our recommendations to help you get the most out of your cherished pieces:

1

Protect from sunlight and heat

Keep your furniture away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources like radiators, wood-burning stoves, and heat pumps. This will prevent fading and drying out of the material.

2

Pet-free zone

As much as we love our furry friends, it’s best to keep them off the furniture to avoid damage from grease, dirt, and claws.

3

Even wear

Rotate the armrest bolsters and seat cushions regularly to ensure they wear evenly. Try changing your seating spot occasionally to distribute wear across the sofa.

4

Fluff up

Shake out cushions with loose filling (down/feathers) regularly to maintain their shape and comfort.

5

Watch what you wear

Be cautious of what you wear when sitting on your furniture. New clothes can transfer dye, and zips or rivets can cause scratches or pull threads.

6

Proper usage

Use furniture as intended. Avoid sitting on the armrests, backrests, headrests, or footrests.

7

Weight limits

Do not exceed the weight limit of 120 kg per seat for sofas or 120 kg for armchairs. Avoid subjecting your furniture to extreme stress, like jumping on it.

8

Lift, don’t drag

Always lift your furniture when moving it to protect both the piece and your floors. For wooden floors, we recommend placing felt pads under the legs.
