Leather furniture care Guide
- Always keep your furniture 20-30 cm away from any heat sources
- Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight
- Creases and patina—expect natural creases as your leather furniture ages and develops a patina, adding to its character and charm.
- Our leather is not tanned with heavy metals, ensuring a more sustainable product. If dye rubs off in high-wear areas, these can be redyed
- Always follow the care guide
First things first—arrival
Your leather furniture is ready for use as soon as you unpack it. If you notice any creases or marks, don’t worry—they are completely natural. Simply use and enjoy your furniture, and these will blend into the leather’s patina over time.

Here’s how to care for this timeless material
Cleaning
Gently wipe your leather furniture with a damp, wrung-out cloth. Avoid using microfibre cloths. After cleaning, dry the surface with a soft cloth to prevent mineral deposits. If the leather feels dry or if you’ve had to scrub it harder, use a leather care product suited for your type of leather.
Protection from light and heat
Keep your furniture away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources like radiators and wood-burning stoves to prevent fading and drying out.
Maintaining softness
Leather is like your own skin—it needs to be moisturized. If your leather feels dry, apply a suitable leather conditioner. Note that using conditioners on certain types of leather, like Soleda/Madras, is not recommended. For these, use leather soap instead.
Handling heavy soiling
In cases of heavy soiling, clean the entire piece with a leather cleaner. Remember that using care products on aniline leather will make it darker until all the moisture is absorbed.
Avoiding scratches and marks
Be mindful of what you wear when using your leather furniture. Zippers and rivets can cause scratches, and excess dye from new clothing can transfer to the leather.
